Silva rerum III continues the saga of the Narwojsz family — the reader is carried into the middle of the 18th century, the decadent era of Rococo, often called “the twilight before the Age of Enlightenment.” Piotr Antoni Narwojsz, steward and confidant of the mighty Radziwiłł family, becomes a witness to their family drama.
Real events and biographies, on which the author drew, are woven into an enchanting narrative about family heritage, Vilnius and Niaśviž, reality and the subconscious, Judaism and libertines, architecture, theater, and the element of fire.
